No Spam
We never send unsolicited commercial messages (Spam) and ensure that all messages we deliver are permission-based. Consumers will always be in full control of any services they receive from us and can stop them easily at any time.
MakeMyShow® subscribes to the codes of practice for mobile communication issued by the MMA, the DMA and PhonepayPlus (formerly ICSTIS).
Privacy
MakeMyShow is in complete compliance with the Data Protection Act. We do not use or store any information provided to us for anything other than fulfilling explicitly requested services nor will we sell data (including phone numbers) to third parties.
We never engage in location tracking (i.e. we only locate the person making a request) and only use location finding for services where it is an explicit or implicit requirement of the service requested (e.g. ‘find my nearest’ type services).
Security
All customer data transmitted over public networks is encrypted for privacy and to avoid tampering. We can make secure connections to clients' networks if standard protocols such as SSL are available.
Standards
Our software is built on an Open Source foundation, which we believe is the best approach to ensure the rapid discovery and rectification of vulnerabilities.
Where possible we interface using open standard formats that can be easily understood and validated. This approach speeds up the systems implementation process and typically gives clients several options of how to integrate, as well as potential reuse from the small amount of work required.
