OUR PRODUCT
MakeMyShow LiveConductor is a self-service, hosted environment in which you create mobile messaging applications that reuse your existing Web content. Using the Web interface you configure LiveConductor to meet the specific requirements of your consumers. Applications can return one-off responses or set up subscriptions. You can create as many applications as you need and deploy them either individually or chained together to create a fully interactive service.
The content used by LiveConductor is drawn from your Web site's RSS feeds (including Podcast feeds), and is read in real-time as messages are created so the information you send back is always up to date. LiveConductor also supports request parameterisation, and every message sent is created individually.
You can personalise the response for your consumer in a number of ways:
- The consumer can supply tags, search terms or keywords
- Content can be selected according to the local time of day
- The consumer's location can be used for geographical applications
- Request history can be factored into the response
LiveConductor offers SMS (prepaid & premium) and MMS message types, so you can also incorporate multi-media in your applications. Pictures, animations and sound are all possible, with transcoding and resizing options if your original content is not in a format suitable for mobile. Speech can even be synthesised from your text! If you have a WAP site, you can use a WAP Push message to link to it at the end of a consumer's interaction.
Reports on the use of your applications are provided via RSS that can be read using any good feed reader, and for location-based services there is KML for Google Maps mashups. We provide a developer API so that you can integrate your applications more tightly with your Web site and even use incoming messages to update your content directly!
LiveConductor is currently operating across all US and UK mobile phone networks, with discussions underway in other countries and international support already built in. It also connects to many third-party aggregators and messaging systems, such as Clickatell, MX Telecom, iTAGG, Kannel and Twitter so you can bring your own messaging account if you have one.
