Make My Show
Putting New Writing on the Stage
At Make My Show, we specialise in bringing new writing to the stage.
We showcase experimental theatre that employs innovative staging and presents provocative stories.

We believe that theatre is best when it recognises those characteristics that make it unique:

-
It imaginatively explores the performance space
-
It engages directly and provocatively with the audience
-
It embraces and showcases the performers' physicality
-
It lives and adapts
-
It offers a truly liminal experience
-
It can be felt, smelt, heard and seen

This isn't cinema or TV or web content or a podcast...
No, it's better than that
THIS IS LIVE THEATRE

I'm A Philosopher!
Why the Fuck am I Here?
What would happen if a reality gameshow were populated, not by the normal motley collection of D-List celebrities, but by a group of the world’s greatest thinkers?

-
Will Jean-Jacques Rousseau really enjoy being in the state of nature?
-
Can Ayn Rand thrive in a libertarian paradise?
-
Is there anything that Peter Singer can eat?
-
Will anybody speak to Jordan Peterson?
Find out in this interactive, lip-sync, musical comedy, pastiche of reality TV. T
here are political disagreements, moral debates, music, dancing and lots of comedy - but the best thing is that you, the audience, decides what happens. Who stays? Who goes? Who plays? Who eats? You choose it all using live, interactive voting.
THIS PLAY IS NEVER THE SAME TWICE!

Occupied
Teritory
Designed to blur the boundary between spectator and story through the use of immersive staging, the production draws viewers into a liminal space where the world’s territorial disputes are reflected, not as distant geopolitical abstractions, but as immediate, personal and domestic realities.

The View
From Here
During the First World War, Britain captured much of what it labelled ‘the Arab Middle East’ from the Ottoman Empire.
In 1919 The Royal Irish Constabulary was disbanded under the terms of the agreement that ended Ireland’s War of independence and established the Irish Free State.
By 1922 violence between Arabs and Jews in Palestine was increasing and a new ‘impartial’ British Gendarmerie was established to help maintain the peace.
It was staffed almost exclusively by former RIC members.
In ‘A View from Here’ an ex RIC officer reflects on the differences and similarities of his experiences in Ireland and Palestine
